How to open list of keys?

Memcached has restricted functionality to retrieve keys. This functionality works over text protocol only and return only several thousand of last keys.

From Connection List
  1. Select connection in Connection List, double click by selected connection.
From Toolbar
  1. Select connection in Connection List.
  2. Click Open Key List button in toolbar.
From context menu
  1. Right click connection in Connection List to open context menu.
  2. Click Open Key List menu item.

How to open tree of keys?

How to filter or search keys?

Keylord allow to filter loaded keys by sub-string.

  1. In the top of list of keys or tree of keys, type search text to Filter field and press Enter (↵) key on the keyboard.

To reset filter remove text and press Enter (↵) key on the keyboard again.


How to reload keys?

Keylord can load millions of keys asynchronously without blocking of application GUI and cancel loading at any time.

  1. In the bottom right corner of list of keys or tree of keys, click Reload button.

  1. In the bottom right corner of list of keys or tree of keys, click Cancel button.

How to create String key?

Redis, LevelDB and Memcached support keys of String type.

  1. Open list of keys or tree of keys in Keylord desktop GUI client.
  2. Open Add String Key dialog from main or context menu.

      • Click Keys menu item in main menu.

    • From Context Menu

      • Right click inside of list of keys or tree of keys to open context menu.

      • Click Add String Key… menu item.

  3. Type key name to Key field.
  4. Type value of key to Value field.
  5. Click OK.

How to create Hash key?

Redis support keys of Hash type but LevelDB and Memcached doesn’t.

  1. Open list of keys or tree of keys in Keylord desktop GUI client.
  2. Open Add Hash Key dialog from main or context menu.

Keylord allow to delete one or several keys from list of keys.

  1. Select one or several keys in list of keys.

  2. In the top right corner of list of keys, click Delete Keys… button or open context menu and select Delete Keys… menu item.

  3. Confirm your decision to delete keys in alert dialog.


How to delete keys from tree of keys?

Keylord allow to delete from tree of keys one or more keys.

  1. Select one or several keys in tree of keys.

  2. In the top right corner of list of keys, click Delete Keys… button or open context menu and select Delete Keys… menu item.

  3. Confirm your decision to delete keys in alert dialog.

    In some cases Keylord can show advanced confirmation dialog to clarify your decision to delete:

    • Leaf And Node (will be delete selected key and all related children keys)
    • Only Leaf (will be delete selected key but leave all related children keys)
    • Only Node (will be delete all related children keys but leave selected key)
